DTN COMMENTS: All remains quiet in cash cattle country. A few asking 
prices in the South are now being reported at $186 to $187-plus, but 
nothing on the table in the North as of yet. It is looking like 
significant trade volume will be delayed until Thursday or Friday. 

Beef cutouts are higher at midday (choice 307.37 +2.98, select 294.67 
+0.85) with light to moderate box movement (41.98 lds of choice cuts, 
7.97 lds of select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 10.26 lds of ground). 
Cattle futures near the top of the noon hour are mostly modestly higher 
on both live and feeder contracts.
